Dornych,
the New City
Centre
of Brno
The Dornych area is a pivotal transport and commercial hub of Brno, drawing tens of thousands of people daily. Within its immediate vicinity lie the city’s main train and bus stations, as well as key public transit connections.
The new Dornych, set to replace the deteriorated Prior department store, is envisioned as a dynamic blend of office spaces, residences, a hotel, services, and top-tier retail and dining. A new pedestrian-friendly public space will connect Brno’s city center with the emerging Southern District.
Completion and grand opening of the project are slated for 2027/2028.

A world-renowned architecture studio
Mark Tryzybowicz and his MTDI architecture studio gave Dornych its unique look and feel.
The MTDI studio is behind some of the most famous retail projects in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, including two major shopping malls, Palladium and Eurovea. Their vast experience was a key factor when the developer was choosing a studio to work with on this iconic project.
